Mazel tov to David–can’t wait to see Behind Everyman on the big screen!
- – -
In dating news, I recently met a man I thought may have potential to possibly be someone really special. Unfortunately, he thinks the almost 400 miles separating our zip codes is too much distance. Yeah, I’m a little disappointed.

In Jdate news, there are a couple prospects (we’ll see if any of them turn into actual dates), one of whom may be a comic. I’ve been missing my comics!

Speaking of comics, last night I started to watch the Last Comic Standing season premier but got bored after watching only the LA auditions. What a waste of time and I didn’t even see any comics I’ve already dated. Blah.

In case anyone else was wondering how to download pictures from your RAZR phone, I figured it out! Just get the software and a USB, and you’re good to go. You can even charge your phone using the USB. Cool, huh?

And finally, totally unrelated to anything above, my skin is so dry (yay for Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion samples!) I think my face may fall off. What is the deal with this weather?

Not a single one you’ve dated is on LCS? How is that possible? You’ve got to get back out there, H. Clearly you’re not dating enough comics. So hop to it, girl!

Is the guy 400 miles in my direction? Just checking. Long-distance romance is the new black, I hear. Just saying.

And mazal tov to David, and to you, H, for creating the vital buzz…

Shall we find someone to beat him up for you?

Haha no, that’s not necessary. He’s a good guy. But thanks for the offer.

How come we haven’t heard about this mystery man before? Did you meet him from your blog?

I have the opposite problem. Balmy New England weather and stress has caused my skin to spawn a small oilfest. Now we can pull out of Iraq!

But anyway I’m partial to Dove oil-free moisturizer with sunscreen. It has a pretty blue and white bottle.

Dude, 400 miles is whhat? A less than two hour plane ride. Doesn’t he see your worth the frequent flyer miles?

yep, and the current object of my angst (i refuse to call it affection because it feels so middle school) is 400 mi away too… and to him it’s an eternity. i, however, think that people can make it work. if you want it badly enough. would be nice to have someone fight for you, right?

Personally, I think any more than 5 miles is too much.

2,345 miles is where my “friend” is. Tell him 400 is a hop skip and a jump! Damn, I WISH mine was 400 miles away. Counting the days till I see him. 26 to go!

400 miles is a shlep, frequent flyer miles or not. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but think about it. Let’s say you see each other twice a month, alternating locations for the weekend. You’re going to spend your entire weekend together, which is not healthy for a burgeoning relationship. Do you really want to sacrifice the rest of your life for each of those weekends? Do you think he will? Will each of you resent the other for usurpsing so much of the other’s time? Sorry to be so pessmisitic. May the force be with you though!

Jerebo, eh, it’s a moot point now. But yeah, I do think I would have to agree with you.
